I am a Hungarian born Britisher who went to the UK. during the 1956 uprising, after schooling I got married and had two sons in the UK.
Returned back to Hungary in 1992 which was just after the political change over. The same year I started a business of selling Oriental Carpets and a year later
I joined the IWC, this makes me one of the oldest members in the club. On and off I was part of the IWC Board from 1994 mainly running the financial side, also involved in the legal side of the club in the background. Currently I am one of the three Supervisory Board Member.
I joined IWC in February 2012 and a couple of months later I was elected to the Board in the position of the Treasurer, being responsible for financial, legal and tax affairs.
I was reelected for a next two years for the period of 2014-2016.
To support the activities of IWC I was always there to organise programs such as Boat trips, barbeque at Marriott, Holiday Bazaar etc.
I am French, born in Germany, graduated from the University of Paris X Nanterre. I lived in England, first as an au pair and later worked and studied in London where it was my very first International total immersion. Back home, I met my Swiss husband. We lived in Africa and Asia where I worked as a teacher at the French International School of Jakarta.
In 1995 I joined IWC Budapest, a wonderful place to meet friends, to get to know the local culture and to use your free time by being involved in the association. It is a very broad and enlightening experience. I have been serving IWC in many ways: helping Membership, coordinating the IFF, being part of Ball Committees and coordinated Charity Balls. My last post was IWC Chairwoman from 2012 to 2016.
I like to go to aquafitness, pilates and love to play Mah Jong. I am serious about golf and wine tasting dinners and enjoy concerts, ballet and cinema.
